Alhafez family established in 1952 the first domestic refrigerator factory in the Middle East in Syria. In 1973 National Refrigeration Company was established in the Hashimite Kingdom of Jordan to fulfill the needs of Jordan and the other neighboring countries that have a hot climate.

1976 saw the launch of our production of our 14cu.ft. one door model, the first refrigerator manufactured in Jordan. Soon after in 1980 we expanded our production line to include numerous refrigerator models in cooperation with one of the most renowned Italian companies in order to suite the changing needs of the Jordanian family. In 1986 the company strengthened its leadership in the market when it launched its No-frost Refrigerator line in cooperation with American White-Westinghouse.

As a part of our strive to enhance our production, in 1992 we invested in new machinery, new molds, production lines, and computerized quality assurance departments in order to have attain a production capacity exceeding 45,000 units annually and products that fulfil the international quality standards.

In the new millennium NRC Refrigerators, Washing Machines, Air-Conditioners and Gas Cookers are found in homes and showrooms throughout the Middle East. Are they in yours?
